Cloverley Hall is a Christian Conference Centre set in 9 acres of its own grounds in the beautiful Shropshire countryside near Whitchurch.

The Hall provides comfortable, warm accommodation for guests in single, twin, family or six bedded rooms plus three ground floor rooms with access for the less mobile.

Indoor facilities include darts, table tennis, snooker and pool. There is a shop selling a range of confectionary as well as a selection of Christian books and cards. The outdoor facilities at this time of year include a petanque pitch, football pitch, tennis court and lawns suitable for putting and volleyball.

There is also an indoor crèche room with toys and an outdoor play area for the younger children.

There are opportunities to listen to Bible teaching, times to relax, planned and unplanned activities such as walks and a variety of sports activities, making new friends and catching up with the old ones, times of worship and a Saturday evening quiz. There will be a separate programme for the children and young people and a Crèche for the younger children and babies is run by a rota of parents.

In his own words: 'I'm from Northallerton in North Yorkshire, where my parents were farmers. I went to school in York. I like sports and running and my aim is to reduce my golf handicap each year (it is currently 18 so there's lots of room for improvement). I am married to Mary who's a GP, and we have three children who are rapidly becoming independent.

I'm the Team Rector a St George's in Leeds and my job is to get everyone else doing as much as possible, hopefully the things God designed them to do and that they love doing. Prior to coming back to Yorkshire I worked in Liverpool, Essex and London.'

Please don’t allow the cost of the weekend to deter you from coming – just give what you can.

If you can afford to, please give extra to cover the cost of those who cannot afford the full price.
